Delivery Terms and Conditions
(IF YOU’VE PURCHASED A ‘CUSTOMER RETURN’ ITEM, PLEASE BE AWARE DUE TO THE RETURNS PROCESS THIS ITEM MAY HAVE SMALL SCUFFS AND / OR MARKS AS DESCRIBED IN THE ORIGINAL LISTING, PLEASE DO NOT MISTAKE THESE FOR THE DAMAGE ON DELIVERY)
PLEASE READ the below information regarding our standard delivery terms.
We use a company called ‘palletised shipping services’ who will contact you on collection of the ITEM from our unit to arrange the delivery to you on a day that is suitable. Please allow 5 working days as this is an economy service. (If after persistent chasing Palletised Shipping cannot get hold of you by phone / email to arrange delivery, they may attempt delivery without speaking to you.)
This will be delivered on a pallet curb side economy class. The pallet company MAY deliver up a fully accessible tarmac drive via the couriers pallet truck.
The courier is unable take this up any type of gravelled drive, grass or uneven surface. In these circumstances again it will only be delivered curb side.
The courier will not install the machine, take it off the pallet or take the pallet away.
As this an economy delivery the pallet company does have between 9 and 5.30 to make the delivery on the delivery day agreed. In most cases the delivery company cannot offer a morning / afternoon slot.
The delivery company MAY offer a morning or afternoon slot for delivery of goods. If this is a service you would like to upgrade to, there would be an additional cost to yourself of £20 + vat. This must be paid directly to palletised shipping and can be arranged when they contact with you regarding your delivery.
If for any reason you are not in at the delivery address to take the delivery of goods on the day that you agreed, you will be liable to incur the charge for the redelivery of the goods. This cost will vary dependant on location and must be paid directly to the Palletised Shipping.
If you are not home at the time of delivery and tell the driver to leave the pallet outside, this would void the insurance. You would accept this at your own risk.
